A 4.7 Magnitude Earthquake Was Successfully Forecasted
It comes as no surprise that in order to forecast an earthquake there must be an earthquake to have taken place. Last week, week 6 of our earthquake competition, our participants successfully took the live data shared and forecasted a 4.7 magnitude earthquake within the Sichuan region of China with an over 90% accuracy of the earthquake’s magnitude, epicenter, and occurrence.
With this new development in the search of finding a solution to one of mankind’s biggest mysteries, we are more confident that earthquake prediction/forecasting will be easily accessible, reliable, and used in earthquake-prone regions/countries.
Our ambition is to deploy our solution across the globe and save thousands of lives from the devastation earthquakes can bring.
